Have never been involved in sports or physical training until 2011. Started running June 2013 after 2 years of weight loss and high-intensity aerobics. - Complete my transition to toe-strike, barefoot running
- Achieve a PR 5K of 30:00.
- Pass/maintain semi-annual USMC physical fitness test age graded 46 yr, 1st Class fitness requirement.
Long-Term Running Goals:
- Run a marathon and finish it.
- Keep on running and supporting St.Louis Ultrarunners Group.
- Integrate wilderness outdoor observation and tracking, minimalist camping/survivalism, into a holistic running experience.
